Edit agencies

Content

Edit agencies is a key function of PCS since the user can add/remove an agency's access from the dossier. Generally, the edit agency feature is available for the leading agencies (Applicant, IM, RFC) and they can change the agency settings. This guide will show how to work with the "Edit agencies" function. For further information about the meaning and definition of the different kind of agencies please check the linked documents.

Edit agencies for Applicants

Let's check the baseline before editing the agencies. The user can find this information in the basic data dossier segment:

Edit agencies on operation points

If the user of the leading Applicant like to update the responsible Applicants on particular stations, he should go to the Applicant timetable and open it for editing. There it will be possible for the leading Applicant to change the responsible Applicants on the operation points.

Edit agencies (RUs)

After the changes are done, e.g. new service agency was added to the dossier, the new agency will find the dossier on his Dashboard when the dossier reaches Harmonization.

Edit agencies for IMs

Similar to Applicants the changing leading agency is also possible for the IMs.

You can see on the picture that the leading IM was changed.

Edit agencies for RFCs

In the case of overlapping sections between two RFCs, it is necessary to define the responsibilities and the participating RFC. During the creation of PaP dossiers, the Excel importer provides this possibility, however, it is available later in the system too. RFCs can use edit agencies to define participating RFC in a PaP.

Edit agencies (RFCs)

After the changes are done and the dossier is saved, the participating RFC is visible in the dossier.
